Sun   Giovinazzo  –  SVI 2011 CABERNET SAUVIGNON


The aroma on this Cab will exhibit leather, men’s cologne, smoke, Blackberry, and a bit of tobacco.  This was co-fermented with a bit less than 3% syrah from the same vineyard, which adds a spicy, jammy note.  Flavors or black cherry, currant and cassis are persistent and make for a long, velvety finish.

Powerful earthy grapes packed with dark fruit flavors makes for a bold wine you could tie-dye a shirt with.  Instead, let if open for a few hours and enjoy.

ojai   Ojai Vineyard  –  2012 Pinot Noir – Bien Nacido


Dark red and blue-toned fruit, menthol, pine and spices are all laced together in a floral, lifted Pinot with gorgeous aromatic presence, mid-weight pliancy and terrific balance.  Medium-bodied, lightly textured and exceedingly elegant, Adam Tolmach’s 2012 Pinot Noir Bien Nacido has pretty rose petal, mint and sweet berry fruits to go with a seamless, pure and classy overall palate feel. – Wine Advocate 91

Classic tree-fruit aromas of pear and apricot combine with floral notes and a hint of oak expressed as hazelnut. Nutmeg-scented poached pears fill the palate which finishes with a light toastiness. The full, focused texture receives a refreshing lift from the perfectly balanced acidity. 100% stainless fermentation, 20% French oak aged.

ojai   Ojai Vineyard  –  2013 Chardonnay – Bien Nacido


Rich and textured, the 2013 Chardonnay Bien Nacido Vineyard offers up an array of apple skin, cream, brioche, licorice and spice to go with a medium-bodied, rich and nicely textured feel on the palate.  Finishes racy and extremely long, with resonating mineral and floral qualities.  –  Wine Advocate 92

Alma   Alma Sol  –  2013 SAUVIGNON BLANC


Sourced from premium vineyards in the Paso Robles appellation, this Sauvignon Blanc offers a refreshing treat for the nose and palette, with aromas of passion fruit and flavors of crisp apple, ripe pear, and a hint of lemon zest. Well balanced, with a medium body and citrus-like acidity, this is a wine you can enjoy as an aperitif to kick off your evening, or as the perfect accompaniment to your favorite seafood, Thai cuisine, or herb-infused dish.

Sun   Giovinazzo – 2011 PINOT GRIGIO


This dry white wine has the color of a yellow diamond.  Its clean, intense aroma and bone-dry taste (with appealing flavors of citrus, grapefruit and pear) make this Pinot Grigio a wine of great personality and versatility.

brix   Four Brix  –  2013 RIESLING – Cani Amante


This is Four Brix’s first release from Cani Amante Vinyard in Ojai and its fabulous!  Made dry in style, this wine has fruity, floral aromas with a lightly crisp finish.  Portion of proceeds benefit Ventura County Animal Shelter.

Fess   Fess Parker – 2012 RIESLING


While this is a slightly off-dry wine, the Fess Parker Santa Barbara Riesling retains a bright, crisp acidity, and is perfectly matched to a wide array of foods. Aromatically this wine delivers lime, citrus, white flowers and ginger. The flavor profile is inviting sharing notes of citrus, lychee nut, green apple, mineral and light honey.  This wine pairs seamlessly with Thai and Vietnamese cuisine.
